Events Calendar
Every Wednesday from June 26th to August 7th, from 2-3PM!
Curious Kids Hour is back for another year! We're starting out by learning about programing robots with Waterville Public Library staff member, Jessecca! Then it off to space with the Children's Discovery Museum of Central Maine, followed by the return of GSK in the Summer with the Maine Discovery Museum! We'll be closing out with a program on camouflage in nature with Waterville Public Library staff member, Michelle. Come down to the library for more hands-on learning! As always, all of the materials will be provided and each student will get their very own Science Lab Notebook.
These events are intended for 2nd through 6th grade students. Adult guardians must remain with their child throughout the entirety of the event. Maine Discovery Museum is providing kits at their events. No registration required!
June 26th: Bot On! With Jessecca Craig
Feeling a spark of creativity? Join our electrifying coding workshop and learn about drag-and-drop coding as you help a robot navigate a maze.

"The Size of Space!"
Caitlin Walker from the Children's Discovery Museum of Central Maine talks about just how big space is!
July 10th: Maine Discovery Museum / GSK Science in the Summer!
Be an Astrobiologist - Your learners are a team of astrobiologists. A spacecraft is going to bring back some samples of soil from another planet. Find out if any of the samples might contain tiny living things (microbes).
